Director of Camps and Clinics: Taylor Narewski
Taylor graduated from Georgia Tech in five years with highest honors with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Public Policy. In addition to lettering four years for the Men’s Varsity Track Team, Taylor worked in policy research as an undergraduate, a graduate student, and a Reason Foundation Fellow. As the Director of Business Development for UDC Sports, Taylor created the Wide Open Cross Country Camp in 2010 and currently serves as the Camp Director. Taylor also works as an associate partner for Sielbei Athletics, a small international road running and marathon team of Kenyan athletes based in Atlanta.
Camp Head Coach: Stan Narewski
With over forty years of coaching experience, Coach Narewski has had over 300 All Americans and 12 Olympians. He is a five time National Coach of the Year award winner with a NCAA National Cross Country Coach of the Year to his credit. Coach Narewski served as the USA Paralympic Head Coach in Barcelona (1992) and Atlanta (1996). Coach Narewski graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Livingston University and a Master of Arts Degree in Education from Auburn University. Coach Stan currently works as the Executive Director of Planned and Major Gifts for the University of West Alabama where he is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame.
